NYC Popfest continued Friday night at Piano's with early sets by From Bubblegum to Sky and Pants Yell!, the latter of which got a fairly lively crowd to play for. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay to see The Besties and Tullycraft (I'm sure I'll get some flack for that), but by the looks of the insanely packed Piano's I'm sure the show got better and livelier as it went on.
-From Bubblegum to SkyPopfest continues Saturday at Music Hall of Williamsburg with The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, Mahogany and Ladybug Transistor.

tullycraft stole the show last night. I'm not sure any band at popfest will top them.
It's hard to pick favorites, but that was definitely one of the best Pants Yell! shows i've ever seen-- they were so "on"-- just great songs, and superb performance. So much energy in the room that night!!!
