LCD SOUNDSYSTEM are about to release the third single from the genius "Sound of Silver" album. 'Someone Great' drops on October 22 (UK) with undisclosed remixes and fun stuff. I have still NEVER seen LCD live, but that is about to change when I make the trek out to Randall's Island on October 6th, when they join ARCADE FIRE, LES SAVY FAV, and BLONDE REDHEAD for a day of sensory overload. The record store scene takes place at THE THING in brooklyn. Known for having that crazy basement floor to ceiling with records at 2 bucks a pop.
