LADY GAGA Rocks, But the Grammys Are Dead To Me

Lady Gaga opened the Grammy's this year with the theatricality we have all come to know and love from America's greatest current pop star. The performance - a medley of "Poker Face", "Speechless" and "Your Song" - featured a riveting duet and duel of the keys with Elton John. From there it was downhill the rest of the evening. Don't even get me started about the Best New Artist category. I still can't understand how Silversun Pickups even qualify in this category, but then Zac Brown beats out MGMT and The Ting Tings for the award! My nominees for this category would have looked like this:

The Antlers
Fever Ray
Lady Gaga
Neon Indian
The XX

FEVER RAY - Triangle Walks

Here is the creepy third video taken from Fever Ray's amazing debut album. "Triangle Walks" has become one of my favorite tracks from the disc. I also really dig the new Rex the Dog remix (via P4K).

New ROYKSOPP - "Happy Up Here"

Royksopp, the electronic duo from Norway, are on the verge of releasing their latest album Junior. The new LP features guest appearances from Lykke Li, Robyn, and our most recent obsession, Karin Dreijer Andersson (Fever Ray/The Knife). And for some lucky Brits, Fever Ray will also be opening for Royksopp in London on March 11th.

As a precursor to the new release, Royksopp offer up this bouncy, escapist video for the lead-off track "Happy Up Here". Junior drops March 23 via Astralwerks.

New FEVER RAY Video - "When I Grow Up"

Martin de Thurah directed the second clip from Fever Ray's upcoming album, due March 24th via Mute. The new video is creepy and bizarre, but at the same time, beautiful and engaging.

Fever Ray is Karin Dreijer of The Knife. Thurah also directed the Royksopp video for "What Else Is There", which also featured Dreijer.

FEVER RAY - 'If I Had A Heart'

Fever Ray is the new project by Karin Dreijer of The Knife. The debut album is being released in the US on March 24th via Mute.  Not unlike The Knife, Fever Ray sounds like Satan singing torch ballads in a post-apocalyptic cabaret.  The result is haunting, sinister, and epic.
Here is the creepy video for the new single 'If I Had A Heart', directed by Andreas Nilsson, known for his elaborate videos for Jose Gonzales and The Knife...
