TEENGIRL FANTASY - Portofino
I heart dream music! I've been into Teengirl Fantasy for awhile now. But they have a new(ish) video for the awesome track "Portofino" and they're starting to make waves with the big guns. So it seems the perfect time to revisit the electronic duo and present the new video...

MICACHU AND THE SHAPES - Turn Me Well
This new video from Micachu and the Shapes' album Jewellery premiered last week on Bjork's website of all places. It's good to see interesting new artists being supported by music legends, but then again, Bjork has always been good about that.
I really dig the vacuum on this track and the video suits the tune well.
BEYONCE Steals the VMA's
I don't frequently post about mainstream pop music, but sometimes pop reaches a level of brilliance you cannot ignore. All drama at the VMA's aside, Beyonce delivers a magnum opus of a performance at this year's VMA show. If there is one thing to see from last night's telecast, this is it. Check it.

HEALTH - Die Slow
HEALTH have just released one of the more anticipated albums of the season, Get Color. The release coincides with the recent debut of the bizarre new video for "Die Slow", which is not exactly for the faint of heart. With this track, HEALTH dare to become slightly more accessible while maintaining their sinister sound.

BEACH FOSSILS - Vacation
Beach Fossils are blowing up. The Brooklyn lo-fi band has yet to release an album, but they are getting raves from the likes of Pitchfork and The Fader, and they recently signed to the Woodsist label. Expect more soon, but for now here's a live video shot by Ray Concepcion at Cameo Gallery in Williamsburg where the band played their entire set twice, as requested by the audience. Headphones are highly recommended for viewing this video.
