According to the Modular Website, CRYSTAL CASTLES have cancelled their upcoming appearance at the Modular meets Fixed party at Studio B, due to visa problems. I was so amped to see these guys too! No word yet on the rest of their U.S. tour, which includes the all-important stop at Austin's SXSW Festival. In fact, I've yet to see anything on either of Crystal Castle's two Myspace pages either. Maybe it's all a big mistake and they'll still grace the stage at Studio B on Sautrday night. In any case, we'll still have the awesome British DJ duo SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO and Portuguese synth-punk rockers X-WIFE on hand.
